FOTD - Spring Make-up

Today i bring you a face of the day post. I've been wearing this look quite a lot recently so thought it would be nice to share with you.

Sorry i haven't blogged for AGEEEEES!
I thought i would do a little blog post about my first swap experience with a lovely woman called Kim, shes from the USA and i came into contact with her via Makeup Talk which has forums where you can talk about various makeup related things, to which there is a section for swaps so i decided to write on there that i wished to participate in a swap with someone from the United States and Kim messaged me back.

This swap was a great experience and i think i would definitely love to do it again! Kim requested several things from Bourjois, Sleek and Barry M and i also included lots of my own suggestions for her to try.

I had so much fun and i would really recommend having a go at swapping because it gives you more access to brands you may not be able to get in your own country and it gives you a chance to try things you would never look at or purchase! :) I'd like to thank Kim for such a great experience and hope to do one in the future.

I wrote this blog post a few months ago and left it in my drafts, so within that time i also did another little swap with her as she offered to send me an Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, to which i was delighted to accept and she also sent me 2 Rimmel Stay Matte Powders in 'Transparent', a Revlon Nail Polish in 'Carbonite', a Fusion Beauty Set consisting of the Lip Fusion XL Lip Plumping treatment and the Lash Fusion XL Mascara and finally she sent me a Almay Intense I-Color Eyeshadow Trio in 'Trio for Hazels'. In return i sent here a few drugstore goodies such as : Barry M Nail Polish in 'Mint Green', GOSH Velvet Touch Liner in 'Blue Lagoon', Soap & Glory Hand Food, Garnier BB Cream Sample in 'Light', Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer in '51', MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in 'Heaven & Earth', Collection 2000 Lasting Finish Concealer in 'Light 2', Sleek Pout Polish in 'Peach Perfection', Bourjois Blush in '33 Lilas D'Or', Sleek Blush in 'Pomegranate', Inglot Freedom 2 Pan Palette, Inglot Eye-shadows in 'Pearl 395' & 'Pearl 402', Sleek 'Oh So Special' Eyeshadow Palette, Barry M 'White Nail Effects' Polish & Soap and Glory Lipstick in 'Naked Beige'. Unfortunately i didn't get a chance to take any photos of the second swap but just wanted to give you an idea anyway! :) 

In the next few months when i get around to it, i will do some reviews as I've accumulated a lot of makeup... and i need to do some overviews of my collection for you! :)
